1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information when you use Amigurumake:

• Account information: Email address, display name, and optional profile details (bio, avatar image)
• Content you create: Crochet patterns, community posts, comments, images, materials inventory, pricing data, and product listings
• Usage data: Feature usage events, page views, and interaction data to improve the Platform
• Authentication data: We use Supabase Auth for secure authentication, including email/password and Google OAuth sign-in

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to:

• Provide and operate the Platform's features
• Display your content within the community and your profile
• Process AI-powered features (text prompts are sent to AI providers for translation, image generation, bio writing, trend analysis, etc.)
• Send notifications about community interactions (mentions, comments, likes)
• Improve Platform performance, features, and user experience
• Enforce our Terms of Service and community guidelines

3. AI Feature Data Processing

When you use AI-powered features (such as inspiration generation, pattern translation, bio generation, or trend analysis), relevant text and context from your input are sent to third-party AI providers for processing. We do not use your content to train AI models. AI-generated results are stored in your account for your convenience.

4. Image Storage

Images you upload (profile avatars, product photos, pattern cover images, community post images) are stored securely using Supabase Storage. Images associated with your account will be deleted when you delete your account.

5. Cookies & Analytics

We use essential cookies to maintain your authentication session. We also use analytics tools to understand how the Platform is used, so we can fix what is confusing and build what is useful. We do not sell your data to advertisers or third parties.

Specifically:

• Microsoft Clarity and PostHog: Usage analytics and session replay. These record how pages are used, including clicks, scrolling, and navigation, so we can see where the Platform gets in your way. Text you type into forms and fields is masked and is not readable in these recordings. Recordings are not used to identify you personally.
• Meta Pixel: Measures whether visitors who arrive from our Facebook or Instagram content go on to create an account, and allows us to show our own ads to people who have visited the site. It reports page views and account creation to Meta. It does not receive your pattern content, your designs, or anything you create on the Platform.

You can block all of the above with a standard browser privacy extension or by blocking third-party scripts, and the Platform will continue to work normally.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the Platform:

• Supabase: Database, authentication, file storage, and serverless functions
• AI providers: For content generation features (inspiration images, translations, descriptions)
• Google OAuth: Optional sign-in method
• Microsoft Clarity and PostHog: Usage analytics and session replay, as described in section 5
• Meta (Facebook) Pixel: Advertising measurement, as described in section 5

Each provider operates under their own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for these services to function.

7. Payment Data & Lemon Squeezy

Subscription payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our Merchant of Record. When you subscribe, Lemon Squeezy collects and processes your payment information (credit card details, billing address, etc.) directly. We do not store your full payment details on our servers.

Lemon Squeezy may share with us limited billing information such as your email, subscription status, country, and transaction IDs so we can manage your account access. For details on how Lemon Squeezy handles your data, please refer to Lemon Squeezy's Privacy Policy.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed, though some anonymized or aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes.

Community posts and comments may be retained in anonymized form to preserve conversation context.

How to delete your data: Open your Profile Settings inside the app and choose “Delete my account” — your account and personal data are removed immediately. Alternatively, email amigurumakestudio@gmail.com with the subject line “delete my account” and we will remove all of your personal data within 30 days and email you a confirmation. This applies regardless of how you signed up (email or Google).

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access and download your personal data
• Correct inaccurate information in your profile
• Delete your account and associated data
• Object to or restrict certain data processing
• Withdraw consent for optional data uses

10. Children's Privacy

Amigurumake is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or an in-app notification. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
