Design an Amigurumi
Every amigurumi is a handful of shapes. A sphere for a head, a tapered tube for a body, a flat oval for a foot. Designing one means deciding what those shapes are, how many rounds each takes, and where the increases go so the shape comes out the way you drew it.
Most designers learn this by crocheting and frogging until the piece matches the sketch. These guides cover the part that can be worked out before the hook comes out: the increase math behind each shape, how to scale a piece without guessing, how to chart it, and how a 3D preview of a single piece shows whether the rounds you wrote build the shape you meant.
